Олександрівський проспект проєктували, як головну вулицю міста. Цим проспектом місто, за планом Де-Волана, поділялось на два форштадта (передмістя, місцевість за межами міста) Військовий і Північний, пізніше Грецький.

Олександрівський проспект згодом став віссю міського торгового центру і з’єднав три площі: Грецьку, Старобазарну і Привозну, на яких послідовно, в часі, розміщувалися міські ринки.

Oleksandrivsky Avenue was designed as the main street of the city. According to De Volan's plan, this avenue divided the city into two forstadts (suburbs, suburbs) Military and Northern (later - Greek).

Oleksandrivsky Avenue later became the axis of the city's shopping center and connected three squares: Gretskaya, Starobazarnaya and Privoznaya, where the city markets were successively located over time.

1-2. У першій пол. ХІХ ст. проспект мав переважно прогулянковий характер.

3. Свого часу, Олександрівський проспект був дуже популярний і був жвавим центром магазинів, які торгують червоним товаром, в даний час кращі модні і мануфактурні магазини перекочували на Дерибасівську та Рішельєвську вул.

4. До нашого часу збереглась основа огорожі проспекту у вигляді підпірної стінки для ґрунту.

1-2. In the first half of the XIX century. the avenue was mostly for pedestrians.
3. At one time, Alexander Avenue was very popular and was a bustling center of shops selling best goods, now the best fashion and manufactory stores moved to Deribasovskaya and Richelieu streets.
4. The foundation of the avenue fence in the form of a retaining wall for the ground has been preserved to this day.

А. Спостерігаємо більш транзитний, ніж прогулянковий характер скверу.

Б. Вузькі проходи вздовж Книжного ринку не дають можливість обійти, або обрати шлях «не через торговельні ряди».

A. We noticed more transitory than walking nature of behaviour in the park.
B. Narrow passages along the Book Market do not provide an opportunity to bypass or choose the path "not through trade rows."

А. Посилити головну пішохідну вісь наскрізним зв’язком між кварталами.

Б. Додати шляхи крізь зелені клумби на кшталт прогулянковим алеям з фото ХІХ ст, що створить відпочинок на проспекті більш приємним та цікавим.

A. Strengthen the main pedestrian axis through cross-sectional communication.
B. Add paths through green flower beds like walkways with photos of the XIX century, which will make the rest on the avenue more pleasant and interesting.

Фасад проспекту майже складається з пам’яток історії та архітектури, кожна з яких несе за собою відгуки минулого торгового та промислового, Пушкінського та Бабельського образу Одеси.

Але чи кожен одесит знайомий з цією історією?

Ми пропонуємо занурити відвідувачів в невідомі історії проспекту та будівель навколо.

Odessa is full of stories and identity. All main squares, important for historical development of Odesa are connected by Aleksandrovskiy avenue. The facade of the avenue consists almost of historical heritage buildings. Each of them carries with it a reflection of commercial and industrial past, Pushkin and Babel stories of Odessa.
But does each resident of Odessa familiar with it's history?
We offer to immerse visitors in the unknown history of the avenue and the buildings around.
